7.Scarlet led the two friends through the library, then along one branch of the old tree, which led them at the very top of a bookshelf.
She was living here, in this brigth place, where she could see all the library, out of the reach of the dark plants.
Except for the appalling owner of the premises and his sneaky traps, it was almost a beautiful place to live.
Incidentally, Littlegrey had already changed his size (he was even smaller than usual) and was casually perching on the little branch that went through the bookshelf, while Scarlet was telling them her story.
She was the last creature to escape the terrible magician.
As she did not bring herself to leave her friends and family, she decided to hide in the library, which seemed to be a perfect place to think about a plan.
Yet the old tree warned her against this place seemingly welcoming.
Anyone who enters is comforted by the warm and gentle light of the lanterns, unaware of the danger which threatens them.
Lost in the pages of these wonderful books, out of time, they do not see the dark plants stepping out of the shadows to take them. Then, they fade into obscurity without having time to scream.
The little ghost and Littlegrey suddenly felt very lucky. Following the old tree’s advices, Scarlet scared away the dark plants which hated loud noises.
However they did not have much time to find the spell that could free the creatures.
So they continue their researches, this time with Scarlet by their side.
